Unlike competitors we do not use pressurised steam vessels on the grounds that the technology is unnecessary, involves operational complexity that is inappropriate for smaller-scale operations in remote locations and is not scalable. Reliable and safe pressurised steam systems involve high capital cost, including water treatment plant, specialist ongoing maintenance and regular safety checks. Cheap pressurised steam systems represent significant operational and safety risk and have a short life.

The same press is at the heart of each of our mills. It is designed to process the sterilised and digested fruit equivalent of up to 2,000 kg of FFB per hour, delivering bone dry fibre.
The press specification includes: SEW electric Gearmotor or Lister diesel engine equivalent with SEW gearbox; press cages in mild steel; press screws in abrasion resistant XAR400 with re-buildable flights; and hydraulic ram and pump to control cone pressure. Supplied with full set of spares for at least 12 months.
MICRO-MILL 0.5 TO 1.0 TPH
Designed to process 325 to 650 kg of loose fruit per hour as feedstock, stripped from the fresh fruit bunches before sterilisation, equivalent to 500 to 1,000 kg of fresh fruit bunches. This is an entry level option, which requires manual handling throughout.
It comprises: stainless steel combined steaming cooker / clarifier unit (both continuous) mounted on a furnace; screw press with diesel engine; and a water tank mounted on furnace flue to supply process hot water. An electric motor for the press is an option with a generator or grid electricity supply. Designed for installation by the customer to minimise cost. 1.0 TPH capacity requires two combined steaming cooker / clarifier units.
MINI-MILL 1.0 TPH
Designed to process 650 kg of loose fruit per hour as feedstock, stripped from the fresh fruit bunches before sterilisation, equivalent to 1,000 kg of fresh fruit bunches. This uses only the essential elements of the “Semi-Industrial Mill”. It comprises: lifting boom with winch for loading and unloading cooker baskets; stainless steel steaming cooker mounted on a furnace; vertically integrated digester, press and crude oil tank unit; crude oil pump; single vessel clarifier with fat trap; and water tank mounted on a furnace flue to supply process hot water.
All pumps and motors are electric. Finished oil tank, finished oil pump and platform scales (for weighing finished oil) are optional extras.

SEMI-INDUSTRIAL MILL 2.0 TO 4.0 TPH
Designed to process 2,000 to 4,000 kg of fresh fruit bunches per hour. Both capacities include our full range of utility. It comprises: bunch cutter; lifting gantry with electric hoists; stainless steel cookers mounted on furnaces; vertically integrated stripper, digester, press and crude oil tank unit; nut and fibre separator; crude oil pump; vibrating screen; twin vessel clarifier with fat traps; water tanks mounted on furnace flues to supply process hot water; oil drier mounted on furnace flue; finished oil tank; finished oil pump and platform scales (for weighing finished oil).
