AIFI NIGERIA

AIFI, a privately owned mixed farm in Edo State, has 500 hectares of young oil palm and plans to plant more. In the first quarter of 2019 we commissioned a 2.0 TPH mill which will have enough capacity to process their FFB as the palms start fruiting.

AIFI will have the option to add another 2.0 TPH of capacity within the same production building to meet its capacity needs as its plantation matures and yield increases.

LEVENTIS WEPPA FARM NIGERIA

Weppa is a mixed farm in Edo State developed in association with the local Weppa community on land owned by the Leventis Foundation, in Edo Sate, Nigeria, with around 500 hectares planted to oil palm of mixed age, hitherto served by an artisan mill. In the first quarter of 2015, we commissioned a WACAPOL 1.0 tonnes per hour CPO Mill to serve the established and maturing palms. Capacity has been increased incrementally since then, currently at 4.0 TPH commissioned in November 2017.

ZAMPALM ZAMBIA

ZamPalm, originally a subsidiary of Zambeef plc and now owned by the Zambian Government, has over 2,100 hectares of oil palm. In the fourth quarter of 2014 we commissioned a WACAPOL 2.0 tonnes per hour CPO Mill to serve the young plantation.

ZamPalm will ultimately have to invest in a large-scale industrial mill of 10.0 tonnes per hour or greater capacity, but in the meantime it has the flexibility of doing so via an upgrade to 4.0 tonnes per hour.

AFH EXPORT MADAGASCAR

AFH has a mixed farm of coconut, cloves and oil palm in the North of Madagascar, with around 300 hectares planted to oil palm. It has an ideal micro-climate for oil palm, although unusually far South. In the second quarter of 2017, we commissioned a 1.0 TPH mill for AFH.

VOLTA RED GHANA

In 2013/14 Volta Red invested in 112 hectares of mature palms, 2,050 hectares of recently planted palms and 4,250 hectares of land potentially suitable for oil palm plantation in Kadjebi District, Volta Region, Ghana. In addition, the area had a number of small-holders who have planted to oil palm under the Ghanaian Government’s Presidential Special Initiative, without any access to efficient milling facilities.

In the second quarter of 2013, we commissioned a WACAPOL 1.0 tonnes per hour CPO Mill to serve the mature plantation and local small-holders. In the fourth quarter of 2014, we upgraded the mill to 2.0 tonnes per hour, as the new plantation started to bear fruit.
